NOBODY KNOWS...BETTER THAN ME！

一个全新的艺术项目，不同机构的青年新锐策展人带来的四个展览。

A brand new art project, 4 exhibitions brought by young curators from 4 different art institutions.

“没有人比我更懂”出自“懂王”（特朗普）网红口头禅。这句无知无畏的话经过互联网的广泛传播变得无比戏谑，映照着过去一年的荒诞，仿佛一切意料之外也没有那么意料之外了。我们将“没有人比我更懂”作为庚子年至美术馆最后一个展览标题，在普天下都很“难”的时刻提醒自己保持乐观和幽默精神。展览由四位（组）来自不同艺术机构的青年策展人以至美术馆四个独立的展览区域完成共时共地性的四个展览，多元思想，共同发声。

"Nobody knows better than me" comes from the catchphrase of "Dong Wang" (Trump).This ignorant and fearless sentence has become extremely ridiculous through the wide spread of the Internet, reflecting the absurdity of the past year, as if everything unexpected is not so unexpected. We take "Nobody knows better than me" as the title of the last exhibition in the Gengzi Year of Zhi Art Museum, reminding ourselves at the "difficult" moments in the world, don't forget to be optimistic and humorous. The exhibition consists of four (groups) of young curators from different art institutions and four independent exhibition areas of Zhi Art Museum to complete four synchronic, common-place exhibitions, multiple ideas, speak together.

策展理念：

人类的本质是“复读机”。这里的“复读机”被理解为：重复某种行为，无变革无突破且持续消耗自身。在2020年的特殊环境中，随着“内卷（Involution）”一词出圈，很多人开始注意到自身长期陷入的无意义与低价值感的劳作与日常生活。这个展览将呈现化身“复读机”的两位艺术家（廖建华与史泂文），反思人类本身与城市建设。主题乍一看似乎带有厌世情结，但也包含了无解问题的解法。

Curatorial concept

Human nature is "repeater". The "repeater" here is understood as: repeating a certain behavior, without change, no breakthrough, and continuous consumption of itself. In the special environment of 2020, as the term "Involution" goes out of the circle, many people begin to notice the meaningless and low-value labor and daily life they have been trapped in for a long time. This exhibition will present two artists (Liao Jianhua and Shi Liaowen) who are incarnations of "repeaters", reflecting on human beings and urban construction. At first glance, the theme seems to have a world-weary complex, but it also contains solutions to unsolvable problems.

策展理念：

到底信息传递是一场双向的行为，还是一次个体行动？抑或是二者的有机结合呢？诗歌、图像、影像、装置.......这个发问被置入不同的载体中，以不同的形式向观众抛出；但观众却不必苛求一个准确的答案，他们只需持续保持好奇，让信息自然流入感官足矣。

Curatorial concept

Is messaging a two-way behaviour, or is it an individual action? Or is it an organic combination of the previous two? The above question is posed to the viewer through different art forms like poems, images, videos and installations; but the viewer does not need to demand a precise answer, they just need to keep their curiosities and let the information flow naturally to their senses.

策展理念：
胡威威的这批作品拍摄于2016年深圳，向1202名市民提出了“钱是什么？”的灵魂拷问，部分回答反映了当时的社会现象、消费行为和人类心理，制度、文化和习惯如何影响大家的行为。从原始的货币贝壳、盐到钞票、硬币再到虚拟货币，它们自身都不具备物品价值和使用功能，却左右着人类的情感、关系与欲望。本次展览希望通过摄影、录像、声音等方式与观者产生对话，使观众重新审视自身。

Curatorial concept

Artist Hu Weiwei shot this series in Shenzhen in 2016, asked 1,202 citizens a question. "What is money?" Part of the answers reflects the social phenomenon, and how consumer behavior, human psychology, system, culture, and habits affect everyone's behavior. From primitive currency shells and salt to banknotes, coins, and virtual currencies, they all have no value and use function of their own, but control human emotions, relationships, and desires. The exhibition hopes to create a dialogue with the audience through photography, video, sound, and other ways, for the audience can re-examine themselves.

策展理念：

周金华自毕业以来的创作均采用高空鸟瞰视觉，彷佛上帝视角，知道画中所有的荒谬却从不插手。个体的无力，观众的冷漠，在全新的亚克力绘画装置上则多了几分浪漫主义色彩。新作品跳出了画框的叙事限制，拉近观众在空间与作品发生新的联动。一上一下，是一场物理与感官的合谋，也是艺术家在不断与社会发生关系的过程中的反思见证。周金华借着对事物细节之忠实描绘与怪诞幻想之唐突对比，遵从内心和对真实的追索，于作品中创作出人世的缩影。从深层理解这也是一种生活方式，一种精神理疗。

Curatorial concept

Zhou Jinhua’s works since his graduation from college, have adopted aerial bird’s-eye view, making the viewer and the space in the painting farther away. As if God’s perspective knows all the absurdities in the painting but never intervene. Besides the weakness of the individual and the indifference of the audience, a touch of romanticismw was added to the new acrylic painting installations. The new work breaks out of the narrative limitation of the picture frame, and uses light and shadow as a part of the work, bringing the audience closer and creating a new linkage between the space and the work. One up and down, it is a conspiracy of physics and senses, also the artist's reflection on himself in the process of constantly changing relationship with society. Zhou Jinhua creates a miniature of the human world in his works by following the faithful depiction of the details of things and the abrupt contrast of bizarre fantasy, following his heart and the pursuit of reality. From a deeper understanding, this is also a lifestyle, a spiritual therapy.
